Spoopy ‘puter Jam

There’s one thing I’ve never liked about game jams, which was how the limited time and high stakes of some of them could push devs into self-inflicted crunch. This is something I’ve talked about a bunch on stream! One of these times, however, an idea bubbled in chat. Why not try to host a very casual one? No prize, generous deadline, encouraging smaller projects. Sorta like “you’ve got a whole week but only need a few days, so you choose which ones to work on the project”.

So, among a bit of self doubt (who would want to participate in anything I host?) and support of the amazing friends in this community, this little jam came to be.

Of course in practice everyone ended up giving their all, though! Hope you enjoy these creepy games as much as everyone enjoyed working in them.
